Wrap a soft tape (or a string you then measure) around the neck where the collar naturally sits, snug but comfortable, then add two fingers of space. XS 8–12", S 10–14", M 13–18", L 16–22", XL 20–26". Between sizes? Size up.

BioThane® is polyester webbing with a durable waterproof coating. It doesn't absorb water, mud, or odor like nylon, and it doesn't crack or need conditioning like leather. Rinse, wipe, done. It's the standard for working-dog and sport-dog gear.

Every collar includes a brass tag stamped by hand with your dog's name (up to 12 characters) and optionally your phone number. Stamping strikes the letters into the metal, so they can never fade or rub off. We stamp exactly what you enter, so double-check spelling — if you make a typo we'll re-stamp a new tag for a discounted $7; if we make the error, the remake is free and we pay shipping. Full-color printing directly on the strap is coming soon — we're wear-testing it on our own dogs first.

We use quality side-release buckles rated well beyond everyday loads and pull-test every batch. For very strong pullers or tie-out use we recommend the 1" width with metal hardware. No collar is escape-proof — for high-risk dogs ask us about traditional buckle options.

Everything is made to order in Raleigh, NC and ships in 5–7 business days via USPS. Shipping is a flat $4.95 for collars, tags, and swatch kits, $7.95 for orders with a leash or set, and free over $85. Local pickup is free for Wake County, NC customers — choose it at checkout and we'll email to arrange a meetup (usually at a local market or public spot). Pickup orders from outside the area will be invoiced for shipping before we build.

Wrong size? We'll exchange it — just cover return postage. Personalized items can't be restocked, but if we made an error or something fails in normal use, we make it right, full stop.

Rinse or wipe with mild soap and water, towel dry. Check hardware occasionally. That's the whole routine.
