Our Story

FoxPaw Gear started in a Raleigh garage with three border collies — Sky, Pixie, and Quik — and a simple frustration: gear that looked great on day one and terrible after the first muddy creek crossing.

So we build differently. Every collar and leash is cut, punched, and riveted by hand from genuine BioThane® coated webbing — the same waterproof, easy-clean material trusted by working-dog handlers. No stitching to rot. No fabric to hold stink. Hardware is pull-tested before anything ships.

And because a collar's most important job is getting a lost dog home, every collar includes a hand-stamped brass tag with your dog's name and your number — struck letter by letter into solid metal, so it can never rub off.

Every new design goes on our own dogs first. If it can survive herding practice, swim season, and North Carolina red clay, it earns a spot in the shop.
